Explore Our Capabilities
US Drop Forge is your go-to provider for small-to-medium-sized, high-integrity, precision closed-die forgings. Benefit from drop hammer forging and press forging services to match your exact needs.
Most forge shops prioritize massive tonnage, leaving small-to-medium parts (under 100 lbs) stuck in long-lead-time limbo. At US Drop Forge, high-temp alloy components are our specialty. We can handle the custom, emergency runs that the big shops turn down.
Receive quick, efficient quotes for specialized custom jobs or fast-turnaround projects.

Who We Are
US Drop Forge has been in business for over 50 years. Since our founding in 1967 in Woolwich Township, New Jersey, by the brothers Charlie, Jake, and Ron Lafferty, we’ve shown a commitment to quality and service. Out of the need for better quality control and customer service, the brothers established US Drop Forge as an extension of Pennsylvania Machine Works, founded by their father, Charles William Lafferty, in 1931. Over three major expansions, we’ve only deepened our commitment to vertical integration, a reliable supply chain, and superior craftsmanship through technology.
