Who We Are

US Drop Forge has been in business for over 50 years. Since our founding in 1967 in Woolwich Township, New Jersey, by the brothers Charlie, Jake, and Ron Lafferty, we’ve shown a commitment to quality and service. Out of the need for better quality control and customer service, the brothers established US Drop Forge as an extension of Pennsylvania Machine Works, founded by their father, Charles William Lafferty, in 1931. Over three major expansions, we’ve only deepened our commitment to vertical integration, a reliable supply chain, and superior craftsmanship through technology.
