Closed-Die Forged Solutions for Naval, Marine and Shipbuilding Applications

Meeting Maritime Forging Specifications

In the commercial maritime industry, system integrity is non-negotiable. The flow-control, propulsion, and structural components keeping your vessels running must withstand relentless corrosion and high-stress environments. At US Drop Forge, we build for durability and performance. We are your go-to provider for small-to-medium-sized, high-integrity precision forgings engineered specifically for commercial shipping, cargo transport, and shipyard infrastructure.

Our Forging Parameters & Capabilities

We specialize in agile, high-precision runs engineered to your exact dimensional needs. To ensure we are the right technical fit for your project, our manufacturing envelope is strictly optimized for the following parameters:

  • Weight Profile: From 25 lbs (High-Temp Alloys) up to 100 lbs (Carbon Steel).
  • Dimensional Size: Lengths up to 18″ and Widths up to 8″.
  • Production Volume: Flexible scaling from custom small runs to thousands of units.
  • Marine Alloy Inventory: Carbon Steels, Alloy Steels, Stainless Steels, Aluminum Alloys, Copper Alloys, Titanium, and High-Temperature Alloys.

Note on Capability Fit: Please note that we specialize exclusively in drop hammer and closed-die forgings within this size envelope. We do not manufacture rolled rings, forged blocks, or components exceeding 100 lbs.
